Double glazing window consists of 2 panes 5mm glasses with a 6mm space (vacuum) between the panes, air is trapped between the 2 panes and forms a layer of insulation. Before the glasses is sealed, a drying agent is added to ensure no moisture is present inside the finished glasses.
